Customers sometimes have difficulty locating the Trace Parser desktop
tool through internal Microsoft channels. Bundling the signed MSI here
makes it discoverable in the same FastTrack repo as the AI agent, MCP
server, and web UI components — so a customer can pick up the entire
toolchain from one place.
Changes:
- Added Installer/TraceParser.zip — the signed Microsoft MSI for the
D365 F&O Trace Parser desktop tool (v7.0.7690.33). 4.13 MB zip
containing TraceParser.msi (4.65 MB).
- Added Installer/README.md describing the product, version,
installation steps, Authenticode signature verification, and how
the desktop tool produces the .etl trace files / AxTrace schema
consumed by the rest of the components.
- Updated parent Trace Parser/README.md:
- Components table now lists four components (added Installer row).
- Quick Start renumbered to put the desktop tool install as step 1
(upstream of the MCP server, which reads the captured traces).
Distribution: the MSI is the same Microsoft-signed build provided
through official internal channels; included here for customer
discoverability.
