👋 Hi, I’m @annamorgiel.

I am an experienced Software Engineer transitioning into Data Engineering. I bring over seven years of experience delivering scalable, high-quality code in a complex mobile app serving over 3 million users. While working there, A/B testing features on a regular basis in close collaboration with the data analytics team sparked my passion for data-driven solutions.

My analytical foundation actually started during my Computer Science degree at the University of Potsdam, where half of my studies were directly relevant to machine learning. I also already have my first internship behind me—a 5-month role as a Data Analyst Intern where I expanded my practical experience in the field of databases.
Recently, I accelerated my transition by completing an intensive Data Science and AI bootcamp at Le Wagon applying data engineering.

Technically, I have mastered data collection and analysis using Python, SQL, Pandas, and NumPy , and I engineer scalable data pipelines deployed to production using Docker, APIs, and GCP. I am now looking to combine my strong software engineering background and my experience leading projects in a cross-team environment to build resilient, scalable data products
