…cribe/cancellation paths Existing aot-smoke covers Sequential + Parallel happy-path Publish. Three emitted paths are not validated under PublishAot=true: handler- thrown exceptions, subscriber unsubscribe/resubscribe lifecycle, and CancellationToken propagation under concurrent subscribers. Surfaced 2026-05-27 during the org-wide AOT-smoke coverage survey triggered by ZA.Serialisation shipping 2.3.1 + 2.3.2 reactively for the same class of issue. First docs/backlog.md in the repo — adopts the structure ZA.Validation established (What / Why / Sketch / Tradeoff / Graduation signal). Summary
Files a backlog item describing three emitted paths the existing
aot-smokejob does not validate: handler-thrown exceptions, subscriber unsubscribe/resubscribe lifecycle, andCancellationTokenpropagation under concurrent subscribers. Why now
Surfaced 2026-05-27 during the org-wide AOT-smoke coverage survey done after ZeroAlloc.Serialisation shipped 2.3.1 + 2.3.2 reactively. ZA.Serialisation's smoke covered only the V0 path while V1 paths were left un-validated, and downstream templates discovered the gap. Same "smoke exists but partial" pattern applies here.
Scope
Docs-only. Files the gap; the actual aot-smoke extension is a follow-up. Adopts the
What / Why / Sketch / Tradeoff / Graduation signalstructure ZA.Validation established.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
