As requested in the eduGAIN technical profile working group on 2026-06-22, this is the proposal to reword the SAML profile to make clear that 2048 bit RSA keys are deprecated after 2030.
I've split the RSA and EC curves into separate sections. When we consider adding ML-DSA to the profile, we have a place to slot it in alongside the classical algorithms.
I've added references to 2 NIST docs.
