I spend my time exploring virtualization and bare-metal I/O from scratch:

  • mvirt: A minimal IaaS proof-of-concept exploring virtualization mechanics and hypervisor design from first principles.
  • kernstor: An experimental block storage engine built in Rust, utilizing NVMe-TCP and ublk to explore I/O throughput limits.
