This PR introduces a container-first build workflow for InfiniTime and InfiniSim using Make targets.

What changed

• Added a top-level Makefile workflow:

  • make build (default): builds firmware in container
  • make build-infinisim: builds InfiniSim in container
  • make run-infinisim: runs InfiniSim via containerized helper
  • make clean: cleans build outputs

• Enforced container runtime usage:

  • Podman first, Docker fallback
  • Clear actionable error when neither runtime is installed

• Improved simulator workflow:

  • Added/updated tools/run-infinisim-podman.sh to support:
    • runtime auto-detection (podman/docker)
    • configurable INFINISIM_DIR, INFINISIM_REPO, INFINISIM_REF
    • auto-clone of InfiniSim when missing into build_lv_sim/InfiniSim
  • run-infinisim no longer hard-fails on missing local binary; it uses the helper flow directly

• Updated ignore rules:

  • Keep local simulator/cache artifacts ignored (build_lv_sim/, InfiniSim/, etc.)
  • Keep root duplicate helper script ignored, tracked copy lives in tools/

Why

• Make builds reproducible and containerized by default
• Avoid host-toolchain drift and local CMake cache conflicts
• Improve developer onboarding by bootstrapping InfiniSim automatically

Validation performed

• make build runs in container and handles stale host cache cleanup
• make build-infinisim works when InfiniSim/ is absent from repo root (auto-clones to cache dir)
• make run-infinisim now routes through the helper script (containerized flow)
