SP4 qcam nor cheese finding internal cameras

Several kernel upgrades ago, qcam, cheese, v4l2loopback found and used the internal cameras just fine. The something broke. I have rebuilt the system from scratch with Linux Mint 22.3 and kernel 6.19.8-surface-3. I have not been able to get the cameras working again. Relevant (I think) dmesg and cam -l output is below. I have built libcamera and then deleted the directory to try cheese which also does not find the cameras. Let me know if you would like to see any other system information to suggest a possible solution.
