I need a bit more detail on that one - you are talking about the course/subject selection when creating a student-profile in the app?

If so, than this is going to be a tough one, at the time of picking courses and subjects the app does not yet know about any timetables or substitution plans. While finding a valid timetable wouldn't be too hard (the information would simple be displayed after the timetable was imported), the timetable does not contain information related to courses or subject-instances (the Nr-field used in the substitution plan).

Please confirm/clarify my understanding of the feature request.

May I first ask if we can communicate in German in Issues going forward?

Yes, I’m referring to those course selections—the ones in the profile settings and the ones you see at the beginning.

I don’t quite understand why the app doesn’t retrieve all available schedules immediately after logging in and then populate the selection with as much auxiliary information as possible. Additionally, I’d like to ask how the app knows about the courses if it hasn’t retrieved any data that would include the schedule; is there an endpoint I might not be aware of yet?

PS:
I don’t want to rush into anything just yet, I’m the lead developer of a small—though the most widely used and feature-rich—vpmobil library for Python, and I’d like to expand it soon alongside a partial rewrite. Would it be possible for us to pool our information, especially if you know more endpoints than I do?

Deutsch ist ok, ist nur so 'ne Angewohnheit, das alles iwie auf Englisch ist. Bezüglich des Stundenplans, der wird wochenweise "gesucht", sprich, beginnend mit der Woche des heutigen Datums gehen wir mit der Schulwochennummer zurück, bis wir eben einen Stundenplan gefunden haben (SPlanKl_SwXX.xml oder so). Das dauert ein wenig, aber ich denke, dass man das noch etwas optimieren kann.

Bezüglich der Verarbeitung von Stundenplan24.de-Daten generell verwendet die app meine SP24.kt-Library (siehe https://github.com/VPlanPlus-Project/SP24.kt), da gibt es noch keine Dokumentation zu, aber du kannst den Source-Code anschauen, ist halt Kotlin. Da sind auch einige Fallstricke von Stundenplan24.de, die dort behoben werden. Eine Dokumentation gibt's aber noch nicht.
