slow find_collections

Currently (web2py impl) curl 'https://api.opentreeoflife.org/v3/collections/find_collections' takes over 6 seconds for me. This seems too slow in the context of a large number of users at a workshop creating collections.

not urgent, I should have been using the https://api.opentreeoflife.org/v3/collections/collection_list method

I think this issue may be the source of this error, as find_collections is timing out
