I found that when using BYOK (MiniMax custom endpoint), it does not automatically create memory files, and there are some differences in tool - calling compared to the built - in model. Is this a common problem or a configuration issue?

Curious to what type of difference in tool calling you notice, care to share?
I know that you can use different endpoints and get somewhat different behavior, at first some llm gave me some chat-completion instead of the /anthropic one, but I noticed the chat was getting filled with <think texts....
Ideally minimax documentation would be updated soon for the best method of using it with copliot, like they do with other editors.

I noticed that now my instructions per file type is now being used for the first time ever, but I'm not 100% sure it is not due to the m3 model.

I was using this extension before, I migrated yesterday to github's own thing because the extension was getting some errors on most of the requests after I updated it from m2.7 to m3
